I am a husband and father of two children and have been working as an actor for the last twenty-five years. As an actor, I have spent many years honing my listening and communication skills, whilst facing and learning to overcome my own limiting beliefs along the way.
I happened on hypnotherapy by chance, after a relative suffering from Parkinson’s showed me a script a nurse had given her to take home. After taking her through this ‘relaxation’ script, I noticed a remarkable change in her physiology; the tension disappeared from her body, emotions were released and these very (powerful) effects reinforced my belief in the power of words and visualization. I realized that both disciplines of acting and hypnotherapy rely on the subconscious mind to be in the driving seat.
My desire to help her and others further led me to the Quest Institute, where I trained under the founder and pioneer of Cognitive Hypnotherapy and Wordweaving, Trevor Silvester.
The Quest Institute is internationally renowned with an ongoing research programme into its effectiveness with Anxiety and Depression.
