  • Confidence Issues

  • Low Self Esteem

  • Pain Management

  • Addiction

  • Phobias

  • Relationships

  • Unwanted habits

  • Public Speaking

  • IBS

This list is by no means exhaustive. Please contact me with any issue that you may feel is holding you back. Cognitive Hypnotherapy can bring on positive changes which will put you back on the right path.

How many sessions will I need?

This will depend on your presenting problem, but on average most people require 3 to 6 sessions. Sometimes it may be less because the cause can be relatively simple, but in other cases, it may take longer if someone is really struggling. We monitor the progress carefully and it is important that the client feels that the changes are permanent.

Most of the changes take place between sessions, and it is important that you commit to listening to the audios and complete the tasks given which will help accelerate these changes.

How long is a session?

The first session usually lasts 60 - 90 minutes. During this session, I will ask you structured questions to investigate your journey and look for what may be causing your problem, helping you to see a clear path to your solution state.

Subsequent sessions are 60 mins.

How much does it cost?

Each session costs £90 in-person or £80 online. Student rate and NHS workers £60.

I like to offer a free initial 20-minute telephone consultation so that we can discuss your needs and I can answer any queries you might have. It is important for you to choose the right therapist and I do not take on everyone who approaches me.

The service I offer is bespoke. I give you care, support and understanding. Together we work on creating change. If you are ready for change and ready to commit to the process then we can begin.

How do I pay?

I will invoice after each session. Payment can be made by bank transfer.

Is there anyone I can’t work with?

My practice is covered by very clear guidelines and ethics. As a member of the NCH and QCHPA there are certain people who I cannot work with:

• If you have ever been diagnosed with the following conditions I am afraid that I will not be able to work with you:
• Epilepsy (the deep relaxation of hypnotherapy is contra-indicated)
• Psychosis (Bi-Polar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Personality Disorder)
• If you are already working with another therapist I will not be able to work with you.

I cannot treat young people without a consenting adult present.

Where does it take place?

I am currently doing sessions online via zoom and 'in-person' in my home practice, depending on what suits you best. Having your own comfortable home space can work very well with this kind of therapy, on the other hand, some people find it more useful to be in the same room physically. The therapy I offer will always be confidential, non-judgemental and supportive.
